CREW South Florida Chapters Unite for Signature Event Exploring the Full Lifecycle of a Multifamily Development
Miami, FL…April 22, 2025…The South Florida chapters of Commercial Real Estate Women Network (CREW Network)—CREW Miami, CREW Fort Lauderdale/Boca Raton, and CREW Palm Beach/Treasure Coast—announce the upcoming Tri-County Signature Event, “The Anatomy of the Deal”, taking place on Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Greenberg Traurig, 333 SE 2nd Ave Ste 4400 Miami, 33131.
Presented by FNF Family of Companies – Florida Agency, the event will feature a panel of leading experts representing each critical phase in a multifamily development deal. From acquisition and design to legal strategy, title insurance, engineering, financing, risk management, and construction, the panel will offer attendees tactical insight into how projects move from concept to completion.
Moderated by Maureen Mascaro, Founder and Chief Project Officer of The Common Area, the panel features:

Data Spotlight: Multifamily Development and Market Forces
- As of Q3 2024, more than 37,000 multifamily units were under construction across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties.
According to Miami REALTORS®, Miami-Dade led with 25,000 units underway. Despite the scale of construction, the county’s vacancy rate remained below the national average (6.7% vs. 8.7%), and asking rents rose 4% year-over-year. Permitting remained active in 2024, with an estimated 12,200 new units authorized across the tri-county region by year-end.
- Tech migration continues to reshape Miami’s CRE market.
From 2020 to 2025, Miami recorded the second-highest tech talent relocation rate in the U.S., driving demand for housing, mixed-use space, and new capital markets (Source).
