Casa de Campo Food and Wine Festival: A Culinary Experience in the Dominican Republic

The 2nd Annual Casa de Campo Food and Wine Festival is set for October 10-13, 2024, at Casa de Campo Resort & Villas in the Dominican Republic. This exciting event will showcase the best of local and international cuisine. Dominican chef Inés Páez, known as Chef Tita, will represent local talent. She will join celebrity chefs Hubert Keller, Scott Conant, and Shawn McClain.

Chef Tita: Leading Dominican Cuisine

Chef Tita champions Dominican gastronomy. As head chef at Morisoñando and Aguají, she honors her Dominican roots while embracing innovation. Her book, The New Dominican Cuisine, has earned her praise. She is committed to promoting local flavors and products. Chef Tita has also represented Dominican cuisine on international stages, solidifying her role as a culinary ambassador.

International Chef Lineup

In addition to Chef Tita, several globally recognized chefs will join the festival:

  • Chef Hubert Keller: Trained by top chefs in France, Keller is famous for his U.S. restaurants like Fleur de Lys in San Francisco and Burger Bar in Las Vegas.
  • Chef Scott Conant: With over 35 years in the industry, Conant excels at creating food with soul. His portfolio includes award-winning restaurants and best-selling cookbooks.
  • Chef Shawn McClain: McClain, a James Beard Award winner, has opened six acclaimed restaurants. His notable ventures include Spring and Sage in Chicago and Las Vegas.

Casa de Campo’s Culinary Celebration

The Casa de Campo Food and Wine Festival promises an unforgettable experience. Guests will enjoy tastings, live demonstrations, and food and wine pairings. The event is held in collaboration with Invited Clubs.   • Friday, October 11: First day of the Casa de Campo Food and Wine Festival at the Grand Tasting Pavilion at the Marina Riverside Center.
  • Saturday, October 12: Second day of the festival at the Grand Tasting Pavilion, followed by the Celebrity Chef Showcase Under the Stars at Minitas Beach.
